Register the exact camera, record its deployment and separate inventory, image delivery and shared viewing.
Choose the camera workflow
Open Field Cameras → More Camera Actions → Add Camera, or use plus on wider layouts. Choose Cellular for supported Reconyx delivery or Non-Cellular for inventory.
Match the physical camera
Enter Camera Name and the exact serial number. For cellular delivery, activate the camera and its separate service with Reconyx and confirm it can send a new image there.
Place it at the deployment
Enter both latitude and longitude in decimal degrees, or use current location while standing at the camera. Set Camera Orientation if known. Review notes and tap Save Camera.
Verify image forwarding
Configure Reconyx forwarding with the current setup fields shown in iLands. Keep the token private. Send a new image and verify its arrival; Not Connected changes only after successful receipt.
Maintain the deployment record
Find the camera with Search Cameras. Owners can use Update Location when deployment changes and Set Camera Direction to revise facing. Review the saved position and direction.
Manage access and delivery separately
Owners use Camera Actions → Share Camera Access, Activate Camera or Deactivate Camera. Recipients accept invitations under Pending Shared Camera Access. Shared viewing does not automatically allow camera management.
